Fleet Lane, South Walsham

This project involved the extensive refurbishment and significant extension of an existing home, transforming it into a modern, energy-efficient property.

A key feature of the renovation was the construction of a walk-on roof balcony above the bedrooms, designed to make the most the stunning views over the Broads and provide the homeowners with a unique outdoor space.

The heating system was upgraded to a hybrid configuration, combining an air source heat pump with an oil boiler. This innovative system offers the energy efficiency of the heat pump while ensuring reliable heating and hot water during colder months or periods of high demand, such as when hosting guests.

The property was vacant during the refurbishment, allowing work to proceed efficiently. The project was completed successfully, on budget, and to the client’s satisfaction, delivering a beautifully modernised home that fully capitalises on its exceptional location.
